Mel McDaniel, Executive Director
Mel founded Marvin’s Home in 2019. She is a residential designer in the greater Philadelphia area helping clients make homes they love since 2006. Marvin’s Home was inspired by the excess in the interior design world and also Mel’s experience with social work.

Kristin Hayes, President
Kristin and her husband Tom, have been supporting Marvin’s Home since the opening event in April of 2022. Mel started working for them in 2020 doing design work.
Kristin is retired and also a professor at Penn State. She spent 20 years as Assistant Attorney in the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Pennsylvania -
Marisa Graziano, Vice President
Marisa is Olivia's mother and has been helping us strategize and plan Marvin’s Home events
since Olivia came on board in May of 2022. Marisa is a strategist, marketer, and director at Johnson & Johnson. -
Mark Breon, Financial Director
Mark has been Mel’s accountant for many years and has been instrumental in setting up Marvin’s Home and Home On Main quick books and point of sale and general bookkeeping.
We begged him to be on the board because we have no shame and we love working with him. -
Rebecca Bayles
Rebecca is Mel’s sister and has been boots on the ground helping with Marvin’s Home since day one. She has been the organizing force behind our big events and a phone call away for all time sensitive advice, editing and encouragement. Rebecca is a director at Deloitte, USA and gives motivational speeches to women in business.

Joelle Pitts
Joelle is the first person to give Marvin’s Home a chance in connecting with youth who have aged out of the foster care system. She was director at Valley Youth House and the first meeting with her was the beginning of making homes. She is now director of the R J Leonard Foundation.

Peter Breslow
Peter is the founder and CEO of the outstanding public relations business, PBPR. He has brought his vision and insight working with Mel & Olivia’s design and framing businesses. He is now bringing his experience, relationships and passion to MH. His team did an install in early August and their energy and enthusiasm made it an unforgettable day.

Lauren Wylonis
Lauren, a retired forensic psychiatrist, is also the founder and CEO of KingsHaven, a high-end maker of light fixtures, furniture, and home décor. Her talents are many and range from lighting design to writing and creating a gorgeous design book. She brings a vision of structure and sustainability to the work of Marvin’s Home.
